MEET OUR TEAM

Picture
The Bluebonnet Children’s Choir team has seen firsthand the powerful impact children’s music programs can have on young lives. Music helps children learn to empathize, collaborate, and grow into caring, considerate individuals. Through participation in the choir, children share space with others who may be different from themselves, learning to support one another and grow together. Music fosters empathy, kindness, and a strong sense of community.
The Brazos Valley in south-central Texas is rich in history, tradition, and community, with Texas A&M University at its heart. This well-established region is supported by a deep sense of pride and connection among its residents. Through the Bluebonnet Children’s Choir, our leaders seek to carry that tradition forward by creating meaningful opportunities for children to give back and become active members of their community. Being part of something greater than oneself teaches kindness and encourages personal growth in ways few experiences can match.

Our Choir Directors

Sarah Howe and Jamie Mosley, choir directors, share a passion for bringing music to all children. Together, they have taught more than 6,000 students across middle schools, elementary schools, preschools, and private music studios. Both Jamie and Sarah are known for their ability to take a wiggly group of six- to fourteen-year-olds and, within a short time, have them singing in harmony—often learning a new song after just a few hours of instruction. Be prepared to be wowed by these two dynamic women.
